Holster to Mauser 1934 in "paper"
Two holster to my Mauser mod. 1934, one for Kriegsmarine and one in paper.
The ink stamped leather holster came with 4. variation for Kriegsmarine, wery good condition. Got hold of same holster, (not Marine) but made for mod. 1934 - late war i think, made in paper... Anyone who knows more about theese paperholsters? Nice holsters with history both of them... AKB Norway

It is my understanding that the Erastz or paper type holsters were not always late war holsters - but occurred at other periods when leather was in short supply.
The foregoing is based on a discussion that occurred a few years ago either on the NAPA form or Jan Still's forum. I have a couple of those holsters but yours are in much, much better shape.
