S/42 1938
So in short found an armslist ad for a s/42 Luger, he's offering 450 to me for a "speedy transaction"...
I've posted pictures I'm just wondering is it worth it? And what is it? Is it commercial? Thanks -Matt |

No, but their email is coming up as "zen wanderer".... the pictures he gave me seemed to be an all matching 1938 s/42 Luger with major pitting on the barrel, and patina/fleckering on the gun itself. Just a question were there any commercial lugers produced in that year? Because the frame seems to have a letter under the number like a commercial luger (just wondering i am most likely completely wrong)

A letter under the number is also correct for the military and the side proofs you show are also military. If you publish the seller's address you might have a forum member who lives nearby who can actually eyeball the pistol.
How about posting all the photos you describe? |

Ask him what type of payment method you should use. If he mentions western union I would walk away.
