Default The 3rd Tokarev

Acquired my 3rd Tokarev (previous two were sold), a Norinco Model 54 commercial 7.62mm in like new shape, safety added, a California importer's name lightly pantographed on the grip front strap, coming with two matching magazines. I heard it's imported in 1989. The gun came with 6 boxes of Czech made ammo. It's becoming harder to find these 30 caliber Norinco pistols now. But thanks to recent wave of M57s on the market, Norinco is still very affordable, $265 for gun plus ammo.

Very nice condition!

They sure didn't waste time stamping anything frivolous on it...

Wow! Is that one of the six boxes of ammunition???

Sounds like a great deal!!!

Not so lucky. Those were all 6 boxes displayed.

I found no matter acquiring or disposing, my gun types are very limited now. Only a few types of guns cycling around. Tried to expand my interest, not easy. Not sure that's normal or not.

Anyway, I need a pistol that I can handle without white gloves on. Feel good on this Norinco.

Nice gun - I have a 1950 Russian and a 1964 Chinese. Shoot them occasionally. They are slender, well made, easy to carry, accurate and powerful - a perfect example that a gun can be inexpensive yet not cheap. I reload for them using .30 carbine bullets.

Yes, it's very well made.

Expensive guns are like gold and platinum, valuable but sitting in safe most of time. Inexpensive guns are silver, fitting everyday's playing.

Excellent shape, very cool find!

I have a M57 from the early sixties but I love it (I'd like to get an earlier Russian one at some point). Does very well at the range for an inexpensive yet solid pistol!!

Nice looking gun, Alvin.
If I managed to find one here, I would grab it for shooting. I was told that these guns are a blast in the range.
I only have one TT33, a Russian made in 1941 - but I have it as a collectable piece.
