Reiter Regiment 6, 6th Eskadron. It is a Weimar/Reichswehr marking.

Reiter Regiments were Weimar era cavalry. Eskadronen were squadrons (companies).

it was supposed to be a 1915 holster, but all i'm finding online is that weimar wasn't established until 1919 i paid extra for the 1915-my father in law has a 1915 luger and he wanted a holster for christmas.

It's certainly possible that a holster made in 1915 was taken into service and marked during the Weimar period.
You would do well to post pictures of your holster (including details like all stampings, areas where it's sewn, the leading left edge, etc...) There are experts here that can help verify it's authenticity. Marc
