Stevens Trench Gun
I was at a gun show today drooling over a Stevens 520-30 trench gun complete with its bayonet. The seller wouldn't budge from his $1500 price. Since I knew absolutely nothing about these or their value I walked away but tonight I see one on Simpsons for $1595 http://www.simpsonltd.com/product_in...ddc7da6cc59825 that is missing it's vented handguard and isn't nearly as nice looking as the one I saw.
Is anyone familiar with these and did I pass up a good deal? Marc |

No heat shield, no bayonet but Cimerron makes a nice lookin' knock off of the Winchester 1897 trench gun for about $450.00. Even has the old trigger system that allows you to slam fire. If you don't really "need" collectable, take a look.
