Eric,

In post number 15, you show an open pouch, full of ammo with a tool fitted into a pocket on the right, upper, "lid" side of the pouch. I don't know if this is your pouch or you sourced the image elsewhere. In any event, your pouch should have the small sleeve to hold this tool.

Dimensions of the 30-40 Krag are pretty much the same as .30-06 (1903 Springfield) except the Krag round was rimmed and the Springfield round was rimless...

The Krag cleaning tool was meant to be carried in the buttstock, so the tool that was stored in the ammo pouch is a combination takedown tool. You are looking for the three bladed tool that is in this photo.

Try the typical parts houses; Sarco, Gun Parts Corp, (Numrich Arms) and IMA.

There is also a Krag collector's website.
