Default Proper mag capacity

I will take ownership of a shooter grade P08, date 1920, 9mm, aluminum base mag, serial 5343f, with stamped Mauser on the fromt toggle piece. The mag, for some unknown reason, has a numeral 7 engraved or scratched into the left bottom side, which has me perplexed. This would be an easy solution if I could check the mag myself, but this being New Jersey, until I get the Pistol permit Wednesday I will drive myself bonkers wondering what the correct round count is because I want to buy some repro mags to use while shooting. Any and all advice is welcome. I have either purchased and read, or Googled myself cuckoo trying to get the specific answer, but it eludes me, so I come here for help. Thank you for reading this, and maybe someday I can return the kindness.
