Rare New Model
I received a few days ago this New Model in .30 cal. made ca. 1906 s/n 26466. One of about 400 made with modified long frames w/ up safety remaining from original Navy contract. Good bore. Fired customary 5 shots and worked great. All matching except for right grip and magazine. Your opinions would be greatly appreciated.
Best regards,

It's a nice looking Luger.
However, the safety lever and take down lever seem to be blued instead of strawed. Is that so or just an effect of camera flash? Douglas Last edited by Douglas Jr.; 05-11-2012 at 10:26 AM. |

All the strawing is correct including the safety and takedown levers, trigger, ejector and magazine catch; however it is somewhat blackened or tarnished.
Best regards,

Thanks. I've seen this before.
I asked exactly because I found the bluing in very nice (and original condition). Congratulations. Douglas |
