Default new shooter

HI all this is a new acquisition.

a 1918 dwm mostly matching except firing pin , safety components and side plate. great barrel. it is a russian import/capture. However the grips are very thick and tough and have more marks on them then I usually see. My cell phone wont pick them up however . Do these look like run of the mill dwm grips circa 1918?

I got it from checkpoint for 650.
