HK 3249, 3930, and 8551
I have posted high resolution photos of some of my Krieghoff Lugers at the following links:
http://pics.livejournal.com/larvatus/tags/krieghoff/ http://pics.livejournal.com/larvatus/tags/HK3249/ http://pics.livejournal.com/larvatus/tags/HK3930/ http://pics.livejournal.com/larvatus/tags/HK8551/ The images are very large. Please click first on a thumbnail photo, then on the scaled-down preview. I would be very grateful for any critique of my technique and its subjects.

Bravo Michael, nice job! By coincidence, I've been working on a similar project on HK #7736 for the monthly photo presentation I do on Jan Still's forum. I've been trying to capture all the unique ways Krieghoff numbered and/or marked their guns, like on the back of the take-down lever and under the front sight blade. I'm also trying to capture the elusive "Krieghoff thumbprint", but with limited success so far.
Best regards, Norm |
