New (to me) Luger
I have recently acquired a luger and could use some help with identification and research.
It is a DWM luger chambered in 9mm with a 4 inch barrel. No grip safety but has stock lug. Walnut checkered grips. Thumb safety with word Gesichert Markings - serial number 3315 on barrel, front and left side of frame. stylized t under serial number on barrel and front. German "Nitro" proof on bottom of barrel and left side frame. Waffen amt proof on right side of receiver. L.P. 370 on front butt strap. Wood bottom magazine with serial number and number 2 on bottom. Excellent condition with 90% bluing and straw coloring remaining Brown leather holster from Schambach and Co. 1929 complete with takedown tool. L.P. 370 stamped on holster. Thank you in advance Fred Archer |

It is a police Luger. The L.P. is a unit mark for a Landjaegerei (rural) police organization. Photos would help.

Sounds like a very nice one!
According to this site, it would have been assigned to Pommern. Please post pictures when you can! Marc
