Howdy,
I believe I picked up a 1920s commercial, but having trouble finding information on it. Serial number is "1XX n". Only 3 proofmarks, the usual "crown over N". One is marked on the receiver in front of the side plate, halfway to the barrel. It is verticle. Another one is marked on the toggle, but it is the "lazy" crown over N. The last is marked on the barrel. All the small parts have the same last 2 digits as the SN. The full SN is marked underneath the barrel and the frame. Other than the DWM marked on the toggle, there are no other markings on it. Thanks, -Jay |

Jay, What other information are you wanting?
There are several other markers on some Lugers to find further information like grip strap markings and dates..even carvings on grips but without any of these ..It is a 1920's alphabet commercial likely in .30 Luger. That's just about all there is..

'N' block would have been made the last half of 1924 to first half of 1925.

Mine doesn't have any grip strap markings or dates. Everything I put in my post is what is stamped on the gun. |
