Production date for 1939 Code 42 Luger

Hi all,

Can I please check what is the production date of my newly acquired 1939 42 Luger?

Also how many of this were produced during the war?

Any help will be very much appreciated.

Vernon, I don't have any books with me.

Is there a letter on the front of the frame? It would be just under the numbers.

Any pictures, full left, full right, top?

From Still's TRL, est. production 85,500. Range 200R to 8250Z. Production run started in April, 1939.
