New important find
Dear Fellows,
In the book “The Parabellum is Back! 1945 – 2000”, Gerben and I analyse with a great level of detail the Parabellum production done in the 1945-1946 timeframe in Oberndorf and then the production done in France always by the Mauser personnel. Recently some interesting blue prints dated 1948, still with the Mauser banner, resurfaced providing one more evidence of the involvement of the Mauser personnel moved in the French arsenal located in Mulhouse, in the development of the simplified Haenel-like magazine called “Levallois” and used by the French forces. As you know, a specific web site: http://www.theparabellumisback.com has been developed to assist the book and the readers providing new information when available. Every time, like now, a new important find is discovered, the web site will be updated in order to let the reader combine the new fact with the specific book chapters. Therefore, please visit the above web site and click on the "News" page to read about the new find. I hope you appreciate. Cheers, Mauro
