Don, You mention using 2 different magazines with the same results..but you dan't say what they are. Before you do anything else I would get hold of another mag or two just to firmly eliminate those as a potential.

Marine, Sometimes these feeding/extraction problems can be hard to diagnose. I'd be pleased to check out your luger for my regular $50 inspection fee + $25 for return S&H. I'd then email you with my results and a firm quote for parts & labor to repair. Off hand with all that you've tried so far, it sounds like you need a recoil spring that is balanced to the ammo that you are using and that might take several attempts and test firings to get it right.
