Default Spanish Broomhandles

I just finished reading a very interesting article in the November issue of NRA's American Rifleman magazine regarding the history of Spainish Broomhandles. The article also touched on the Spainish gun making industry after WWI. I enjoyed the article and though some of you might also.

How reliable are the Astra's? Any weaknesses besides the usual C96 problems? Any parts prone to breaking?
