It looks to have been a police gun at one time. In the first pic it has a hole for the sear safety rivet above the safety bar

What's sad about this, is that some sellers/dealers/or whom ever, believe that people in general are dumb enough to put out a lot of money for a piece of junk like that.

Before I went to work for the government in 1960, I worked in a pawn shop in Oakland California. Prior to my time, someone brought in a very nice Remington hunting rifle with scope and a quality stock. The owner thought it was cool to glue on those little doo-dads that you use to get out of gum ball machines. The entire stock was covered with them. Whenever we needed a good laugh, we would look at that rifle.

It seems to be mostly decorated on the left side as if meant to remain in the case all the time. I think I go with the golden one owned by Dorian Gray in the League Of Extraordinary Gentlemen

Hi:

No, this just looks like a careless attempt to doll-up a set.

Could this have been a "Mitchell's Mauser" produced "trophy"? Ugh! What a waste of a good shooter Luger. I notice it didn't sell... maybe the Lugerforum has educated enough people to prevent frauds like this.
