Hi guys!
I'm new to the forum & luger collecting. I just picked up this luger tool and cannot tell if it's authentic or a repro? Any help would be greatly appreciated! Greg |

How thick is it?
Does it meet the thickness in the FAQ? Ed

I couldn't get the FAQ to work?? Typed in take down tool and other words/phrases so I guess I need to play with it?
I measure the thickest part and it was .099 in. I'm sorry if I'm showing my ignorance here! Thanks, Greg Last edited by aff96; 07-08-2010 at 06:34 PM. |

It "looks" genuine to me, but do measure the thickness and get back to us.

That would be right about 2.5 mm. Correct for a real tool.

Hi Greg,
this is a correct E/63 tool for late G- dates and 1936 dated Luger. With the E/655 tools the most often seen tool. Regards Klaus |
