Default Help ID a sight on an arty luger barrel

Recently picked up an old artillery luger upper and this sight was on it. Can anyone out there help identify what this sight is from? It is extremely well made

Thanks,
Mark

It looks very well made! A WAG on my part, based on the straight ramp, is that it is a one-off, possibly by a home machinist (maybe a converted rifle sight?)...A manufacturer would have copied the sine-curve (for want of a better name) of the Luger arty sight...

Cool!!!

I'm interested to hear what the experts say...Mauro especially...

There were any number of these types of sights found on English Sporter / Express rifles, all the way back to muzzle loaders.
