Hi, These marks are on a gun that is up for sale on Gunbroker. In my opinion this piece is completely fake. Don't walk, run! Regards, Norm

Reichsmarine and Kriegsmarine Lugers are scarce and desirable. Only 3000 1940/42 Lugers were procured by the Kriegsmarine. Of these only 2000 were property marked. Ref: Jan Still's Third Reich Lugers pg 65.
As of mid 1940 the Navy stopped marking their Lugers. Prior to this the only marking used after 1934 was an N (Nordsee) or O (Ostsee) followed by the number. The use of M/Anchor had ceased circa 1934. Ron
