Default Information Please

I have a Luger with the toggle assembly and frame matching. The maker is ERFURT. The frame number is: 60398, with no letter. The receiver is numbered: 5685, and dated 1917. The barrel is un-numbered and marked: Made In Germany. On the left frame above the grip is etched: Pekrun 4. The frame has no stock lug or toggle hold open stop. The magazine is a 2 piece blued body with aluminum base. It is marked: 6861, above a script: C, above an eagle with 63 under it. All information is appreciated.

Wade, Your 5 digit S/Ned frame without stock lug is either a DWM M1908 or M06 commerical, and if 06, the grip safety has been removed. The fact that your Erfurt toggle assy is also numbered 98 is just a coincidence and your rebarreled 1917 receiver is from a later military issued PO8. The aluminum bottomed mag is most likely WW2 military issue. If this assemblage of parts functions properly, you are fortunate that someone who knew what they were doing put it together.
