Holster question

Was wondering about this holster did the U.S. issue such a thing. Is it just a new holster with U.S. stamped on it. Here are the two big question though what is it worth and will my Remington Rand .45 fit in it. My guess is that it is new, but I do not know just asking.

as a tank commander I wore one just like it in the early 1970's.

Yer basic Holster, M7 Black Shoulder.

Brown from WWII - 1957, then changed to black. Still issued for the M9 pistol.
