HI Michael. A very interesting illustration however it doesn't appear to resemble the Walther trigger/magazine safety device shown on pg. 241 of Walter's "The Luger Book". That device however does not appear to activate the magazine from what I can see whereas the EGUN one clearly does. It's possible the EGUN device is a later Walther design he alludes to in the text. Any way of knowing if the piece is marked? If not, could it be a Voss device ? There's little in the literature illustrating the various safety designs circa 1930 to meet police requirements prior to the adaption of the Schiwy device with it's steel rivet.
