Default 'high power' marked Luger holster

Greetings good people of the forum

Clearly mine is not the only one with "HIGH POWER" in white letters on the back.. Never gave it much thought until I found this guy is selling a simular one; link to auction

The one above has seen service in the norwegian army at some point (web-attachment), but the one I have has not. Besides.. our army had plenty of more suitable holsters available to fit the few P35's in military service. So post war stamping does not make that much sense to me.

Perhaps as the Wehrmacht got their hands on the Belgian factory and the P-35's, they suddenly found themselves with a lack of suitable holsters?

It's one of the two for sure!
I COULD be the same guy marking holsters that way
..nude in his bathtub full of peanut butter, stamping holsters all day long for some perverse reason

Can live without knowing excactly why.. but it's mighty peculiar I'll tell ya ..mighty peculiar indeed
