SN's on LUGER parts
Reference FAQs, question 20 from NEW USERS FORUM
20. What parts must be numbered on a Luger? I disassembled my 1916 Luger while watching the Seahawks win over Washington to check all the parets listed that should have SN's on them. All matched except for the "Side Plate" which has no numers on it that I can find. According to the list "with a few exceptions through the years" it should have a SN on it (last two digits). Should the 1916 DWM model have a SN on it ? Thanks for the comments !!!

Allen,
Your trigger side plate should be numbered with the last 2-digits of the serial number on its flat surface in the "Military" style of numbering. Here is one for sale and you can zoom in on the photos to get a better look : http://www.simpsonltd.com/product_in...oducts_id=3964 |
