Default Lapua vs. Sako

I have no experience with .30 Luger ammo. I assumed when I got a case of .30 Luger ammo made in Finland that it would be made by Lapua. However, when the case arrived, it was made by Sako. Is Sako ammo regarded as being equal to the quality and reliability of that made by Lapua?

Thank you.

In a pistol I simply settle with anything that makes the gun go bang.

But if choosing between Lapua and Sako rifle ammunition, I would personaly go for Lapua. Not because of bad experience with Sako, but the good experience I have with Lapua in my rifles. Never disappointed me..

Hi:

Generally, I have found all things Finnish excellent when it comes to firearms.

For example, I have a Finnish rebuild of a Russian Mosin 91/30 rifle that can shoot .45 inch 100 yard groups all day long, even though the rifle, itself, looks like hell.

Try your Sako ammo and see for yourself. I'd be surprised if you experience any problems with it.
