A little after thought since writing above post. People might think that I may have taken advantage of a widowed lady. If I didn't make this offer, I am sure that these weapons would have ended up at the police station. I know this police station and I know that they would have ended up in the police oven. The lady knew nothing about her husbands weapons except what she reads in the media and she would have ended up with nothing. We both ended up for the better and happy.

if the metal looks square and smooth under that chrome, strip that baby down ! For 50 dollars a metal plating shop can electro-strip the chrome off without touching the original steel. ( You take them the parts disassembled .) Since it's already been refinished, you now have a second chance to have it done right.
