Default Take down spring

is this a take down spring? The one for the take down lever and kind of sits under it?

I want to pick up a number of them...

Steiner, photo might look familiar

Something looks very familiar with that photo

Yes, it is a take down spring. Unused and original.
I guess you would need a bucket full of them?

You can send me a msg, and I will find a price for you.

Best regards Steinar

Ed,

Jerry Krammer used to have a bunch of these at the past Reno shows.

I picked up all he had at one show for $ 5 each...

Steinar has this offering on e-Bay :

Spoke with Jerry Krammer yesterday at the Reno show. Jerry indicated he has sold all of his Luger parts to Tom Heller.

I think this is also the piece I need

I have been toying with a Luger for months now on and off

It is one of the Interarms German Lugers I guess from the 1980's

Perfect shape, but it is missing the pin, or spring that holds the takedown lever in place

Right now, the take down lever just flops around and clearly the gun falls apart.

Can anyone help me with this?

The best I can do is describe to you that this is some sort of pin or spring (I do not know because I have never seen it), that somehow holds the takedown lever in place

Kevin, do a search (upper right corner), put in lugerdoc and then send him an email or PM, he will most likely have the part you need.

And welcome to the forum!

Thanks to all...

Lugerdoc sent me a PM and we are getting all the ducks lined up. Next, I need to figure out how to put the spring in place, but I imagine I can figure that one out.

Hi,

That won't be too difficult. Slide out the takedown lever, remove the remains of the old spring. Place the new spring and push the takedown lever in again. With a fresh spring, it may take some fiddling around to get the lever back into the frame. Also check the lever itself for wear.

I've just consulted Sadam, and he tells me that there is a special place in Hell for those who pirate photos of release catch springs!!

To cure your problem, consult the Luger Doc, as I had to buy one for a Parabellum Commemorative from him just a short while ago.
