Nice day at the range with dobk.
Finally got to the range today with dobk.
We shot a 1910/21 Danish Bergman, 06/24 Bern Swiss, 1923 Safe and Loaded, Sig 210 in .30 luger, S W Mod. 41, Pre war tangent Hi-power, Argentine sys. 27 .45. Interarms PO 8 in .30 with 6 in. barrel and Walther PPK - German .32. All shooting was done at 25 yards. The Swiss 06/24 gave groups of less than two in. but about 6-8 in high. The 1923 Safe and Loaded, gave groups of two in. and high 6 in. The Argentine Sys. 27 in .45 shot inside 3 in. but directly at point of aim at 25 yards. Shot two runs of falling plates and did not miss. The Interarms PO 8 shot 1-2 in. group but about 4-5 in. high. The trigger pull on the Swiss and Interarms was much better than on the 1923. The Sig 210 in .30 shot groups of 1.5 in. about 1 in or so high. I did not care for the rear sight on the 06/24, PO8 or the Sig as they were all rounded U and the front sight on both luger was too small for me to get a good sight picture. The Sig has a thicker front sight and this helped. The PPK continues to surprise me with how accurate they are. Shot into 2-3 in at 25 yards about 2 in. high. All in all a good way to spend a labor day. |
