Gerben,
I haven't tried the 124gr, but Speer Lawman 115gr is one of the ammunitions which consistently fails to operate my Lugers properly. -Dwight |

Dwight,
Thanks. I did a search on the forum and found some conflicting results. Some ex-police ammo, ca. 5 years old, is coming onto the market here, dead cheap. I'll try a sample of the stuff before I buy the motherload |

Gerben,
It's pretty hot ammo. I tried it once in an old re-barreled VOPO Luger. It wouldn't function(smoke stacked on the feed stroke) and the recoil seemed exceptionally violent. I think the failure to feed was due to the rapid cycling(slamming) of the bolt. Use caution!! Ron

This ammo would consistently stovepipe in my shooter even with extra strong springs from Wolff. The recoil was as Dwight said...so strong and fast that the gun would not feed. A live round sticking out of the top of my gun always makes me nervous.
