Default Any information about this gun?

I had a customer bring in a DMW Luger 7.65mm yesterday for consignment. I must admit I am completely unfamiliar with the guns. Here are some photos.

Any help will be very much appreciated.

Thanks, Kevin

PS: Glad I found this forum!

Kevin,

Welcome aboard.

This Luger is an Alphabet Commercial variation (you may know of the former designation, 1920 Commercial). A fair estimate is that there could have been around 90,000 of these made between 1921 and 1929; it is likely that this example was manufactured in 1926. The information is conditional because there are no records available, and the information is extrapolated from serial number reporting and other characteristics of some specific examples.
