Ron,

I married a Louisiana Coonass... No offense.... But why don't You tell her... I read somewhere that if Ed and I keep your limbs on ice they can reattach them at the hospital....

Really, Melody is a wonderful and understanding lady... I just would like to keep her that way.

Glen

Glen,

No thanks! Went through boot camp with about 40 Cajuns. I convinced them that Oregonians liked Crawfish and Cajuns. The rest of the company were all Texans and Redbones. I was adopted as an honorary Cajun. It's called CYA...

One of my best friends during the last 2 years in the Navy was Sam Edmonds. A Coonass from Gulf Port, MS.

Ron

Pardon the intrusion, but I've heard the tern "coonass" all my life and know it applies to Cajuns, but I don't know why. Can anyone tell me the derivation?
