Good load for .30 Luger & 231
I know others have had pressure issues with Win 231, but I have not. I use 5gr of 231 with win primers and Hornady .30 93gr soft points and 86gr FMJ. Velocities were 5 shot avg.
86gr FMJ 6" barrel 1300 fps, 4" barrel 1200 fps. 93gr soft point 6" barrel 1275 fps 4" barrel 1170 fps. There was not even a hint of high pressure and the gun functioned perfectly.
