Default Dutch Luger Question?

Various sources seem to be in conflict as to meaning of barrel date stamped on Dutch Lugers. Date of acceptance or date it was rebarreled. What do you guys and gals think?

that is the date it was rebareled. the dutch rebuilt the guns every 6-8 years.

I agree with Russ - I believe it is the date it was re-barreled, too..
