wrench and receiver

Awhile back Hugh graciously posted picts of his receiver wrenches. After looking at them I was able to make a version from a convenient piece of 3/4in. x 1.5in. bar of aluminum. The handle part is 18in. long.


The receiver is from a Russian import with a pitted and worn barrel. You can still see the original reddish hue on the receiver. The serial is 34xx v. I have a nice original finish 1939 42code (37xx v) also with the reddish/plumb hue.

I haven't decided on a barrel yet.
