I was just going over the February 3rd issue of SHOTGUN NEWS and I saw an article titled "Luger & P.38 on the Web" by Bill Shadish. In the article there were references to a number of websites for both pistoles and the author rates the websites (five stars for best and one star for worst). The Lugerforum was rated best. Five stars for 'Information Content', four stars for 'Graphics', 'Load Times', 'Useful Links' and 'Commercial Free'. 'Acessibility' and 'Information Updating' got three stars. The summery was that we got an overall rating of a solid four star over all rating. Hats off to all the moderators.
A good second place went to a website called "My Fascination with the Luger" which got a solid three star rating. But it was hurt badly with a one star in 'Graghics'. www.clede.com/Articles/guns/sgn0800.htm Third place with a weak three star rating was"Luger-German 9mm Handgun Site" http://hosting.themib.com/luger/main.html While I want to congradulate all the moderators and contributors of this site, I do want to make note of the fact that we have recently passed the membership count of 1111. I think that this is some sort of Luger beer frame and, according to bowling tradition, the moderators owe all of us a cold one.
