1910 ERFURT

Got this one coming in to TLSS in very poor condition! Owner says Grandpa gave it to him and it he owned it since 1942.

Thor,
* Every right to be both excited & sceptical. Only 2 reported and they are both 2 digit S/N'd.
* Jan Still has identified a difference in the proof eagle from later 1911 Erfurts. The 1910 DWM's would be "b" block or later & have the DWM style proof as you know.

Charles Kenyon and Jan Still have both published forensic analyses of 1910 Erfurts. Are you familiar with them?

Not really, I remember a NAPCA article a few years back.
