I'm looking at a black 1935 dated Luger holster that has the following data stamped on it:
Ehrhardt & Kirstin Taucha 1935 WaA 170 (straight wing Eagle, not Weimar style) I have a three day inspection and this was represented as a correct 1935 holster. Its my understanding that the straight wing style eagle wasn't adopted until mid 1937 on Luger holsters. Is this indeed correct ? My hypothesis is that this started as a 1938-1940 holster that someone has redated to 1935 to "enhance" it. Thanks for your input ! Roger |
