Default Summer Trip

I just got back from a great trip out West with my family and during my travels I had the opportunity to meet a long time forum member and someone I have done business with for many years, Hugh Clark and his wife Minta.

Hugh opened his home to my family and I for the evening where we swapped a few lies, he showed me his work shop where he does his magic on grips, and we got to hold some pieces from his prize Colt collection.

I again wanted to thank Hugh and Minta for the lovely evening and the great gumbo. It is one of the highlights of my trip.

My son and I with Hugh

James, very nice!

I have had the pleasure of only meeting Hugh and his lovely wife many years ago at one of the few luger fests where we got together at GT's and then breakfast and then going over to Ralph's.

It sounds like you had a great trip just from this small part, glad you're home safe and sound.

Ed

PS: Bisley's, Hugh, they are the black sheep of the SA's aren't they

Hey Jim,

I totally agree... Been There and Done That!

Hugh and Minta are most gracious hosts... and his tiny workshop produces some absolutely amazing work. I hope to get the opportunity to visit them again at their home someday, and would be honored to have them as guests at my home too. Hugh's Barbeque Gun collection is really something to see too!

Alway's nice to see photo's of Forum Members I have known for years! I would like to buy a motor home and travel all over visiting Forum Members and collections across the USA! But then..I would like to be taller too.
