Hiya Gents!
Well, I have to admit that I did much better this year for Christmas than I deserve, by far. My new girlfriend is trying to spoil me, I think. She got me two Luger holsters, one from eBay and the other from Simpsons. I am out of town and unable to post better pictures yet but I'll get to it as soon as I can. The first I believe to be reworked and was aquired by way of eBay. It's over stamped on the back and kind of illegible. It has some stiching holes where the strap is but the work is clearly very old. ![]() ![]() ![]() The second was bought from Simpsons and is a nice 1915 in great shape except for the strap, which is still attached and working but just a bit ugly and worn. I'll get some pics as soon as I can. What did you all get? Any good hauls from the dirty old man in the red suit?

Did not get any firearms or accessories, but receive a flag that, on 12/07/2009. was flown over Camp Dubs by the 202nd Combined Action Team. I will be looking for a frame for it.

I got to give my grandson his first haircut. That was a real treat for me and he was a real trooper. For a two year old to sit still that long is amazing. And man, is he handsome!

My wife treated me really well. I got a brown, Id'd walther PP holster to go with my waa'd 380 pistol (she got me a spare mag for my birthday), a copy of Jan Still's latest book, and a copy of a book on Garands.
Quite a nice haul. |

I got a BlackBerry Tour 9630 plus a two-year committment to Verizon wireless...
![]() Well, at least I can monitor this (and other) Forums during the day now...And call AAA in case of emergency, instead of walking two miles in 15ºF weather & blinding snowstorm when my alternator quits... ![]() I guess you could call the Star 9mm BM that I got a couple weeks back a "Christmas" present... ![]() |

Got a list of things: a steel bar, a steel pipe, and a mini gas welder from Home Depot; a book on Soviet Infantry Tactics in WWII; and a book on Japanese Intelligence. Lots of reading on various topics.

I got a rock.
Actually, my wife and I don't give each other gifts at Christmas any more. We spend our money on our 7 month old grandson and my second grandson to be born in March 2010.

My wife gave to me, a 9mm luger shooter which I bought from a member of this forum. I just did not tell her I bought it at the time, so all I had to do was have her wrap it and put to Peter from Jacki. What a wonderful suprise.

I got a Winchester model 1873 lever action saddle ring carbine and a 1940 all matching 98 K. One was for our 25th anniversary and the other was because it was there at the moment and I hate passing up "birds in the hand" type deals. My wife is fine with it but I have to pay.

Gents, you all got some really nice stuff. But I'd have to say that Ed and Charlie got the bestest gifts of all...
![]() And Ron, you look a little like a skinny Santa with that red shirt on... ![]()

Almost like she's thinking "Jeez, am I next???" LOL I practically put my 3y/o son in a headlock when I give him a haircut! He goes to the barber now, until the summer anyway. I got a nice Leupold RX-1000 rangefiner for Christmas, Bambi's gonna be pissed when she hears. |
