Curious Proof/Acceptance Markings
Can anyone identify these on the forward right receiver found in this thread. I was trying to find what I thought was a match Costanzo Volume 1 and cant seem to do it. Thanks for the help.

Ted, the ones on your pistol look like the Eagle/ArA4 acceptances. These were the predecessors to the Dove/WaA4 acceptances shown above. The change occurs on 1921-dated DWMs.

Thank you Don and alanint, I think the thing that threw me for a loop was how hard the right die struck the receiver and left the oval shape. I guess I had a brain burp! lol! Thanks for the help.
