I have a shooter grade 1920 DWM which I believe is a 30 cal. (9mm round only goes in partially into the barrel). Is it possible to switch to 9mm just by replacing the barrel and mags?

You only have to replace the barrel (and possibly the mainspring)...all the mags are the same.

Georg intended that the conversion be done by replacing both the barrel and the recoil spring, same magazine for both. (The main spring is the little spring behind the striker, not involved here.)
Caveat: If you open up seven shooter grade Lugers you will find eight different recoil springs, no two alike. It's a crap shoot as to what you have for a recoil spring to begin with. |
