Hello - I am looking at a Model 1920 DWM Commercial. .30 cal. All the numbers match, except the front toggle link isn't numbered, but it does have the Crown N proof. Lugers at Random on page 34 says the front toggle should be numbered, but I was wondering if maybe this is not always so. thanks

Jay,
Do you mean a 5-digit serial number 20DWM, or do you mean a four-digit-with-suffix Alphabet Commercial? --Dwight |

Jay, Commerical lugers of this period sometimes had the last 2 digits of the serial stamped on the lower side of the mid toggle link, but not always. TH
