I've got a wide variety of other ww2 arms and now have moved towards picking up a luger. Are the Finnish ones AIM has worth checking out or am I better off waiting and picking up a nazi marked? I'd like to keep the price under $1k as the woman would have a fit much over that. I don't need a pristine one but I don't want a beater either. What are your opinions?

welcome to the forum.
What do you collect? If you collect Finn guns,t hen buy a finn. If you are looking for a "rep" piece, then it could be nazi marked, it could be a imperial era that was used in WW2, it could be a imperial or weimar era pistol that was used in WW2, it could be a imperial / weimar era police luger that served during the nazi era.... It could go either way for me. I'd like a WW2 piece from the nazi era most. I've got some old hand drawn maps on Finland during the Winter war and a few after the war. A Finn would fit in with that display as well. But like I said, a nazi era would be best.

Don't let some maps get in the way of what you truely want. Get a original ww2 mix-matched shooter. I live in Canada so prices here seem to be alot cheaper. But should be able to get a mostly matching ww2 shooter in good condition for like 500$? I think for a new collector/shooter a P08 with a couple of spare parts is a good way to go.
