Does anyone know where I might be able to obtain a copy or transcript in German of the Prussian Ministry of Interior order dated 25 February 1932 that issued the 1932 Instruction for the Prussian Police No. 40a: Administration and Maintenance of Weapons, Weapon-Related Technical Equipment, Ammunition and Bicycles of Police and Constabulary? Thanks to Joe Wotka, I have copies of relevant portions of Instruction 40a but I am interested in the contents of the order that issued it. I am confident that it exists because it is referred to by date in several respected publications. I want to determine if the issuing order contained any reasons why it was issued. This could be very important in interpreting some of the Prussian police unit markings.

While the order does not include any information about why it was issued, seeing it has scratched one of my itches. Many thanks to Joe Wotka and his apparently limitless archives.
