Hi, sorry just noticed this, BYF42 serial number 1529n ....No bore guage stamp. Hope this helps

Frank,
I had a '41 'byf', which I traded off, for another luger.
It was serial no. 4275a and it had the 8,82 barrel dimension marked on the underside of the barrel, just in front of the chamber.
