I believe there are two different barrel lengths in the Alphabet commercial lugers, a 3 7/8 inch and a 3 3/4 inch. At least that is what I have observed.

From Aaron Davis
"DWM provided the rough machined parts for 1906-
pattern Lugers to Vickers. Vickers performed minimal
final machining and assembly, and marked them with
their name."

On the coverof Luger Tips is my 1920 Carbine of Ralph. It has a unique rearsight used from a prior P08 It is unique also on the cover,Luger Tips used Ranphs samples!
