Yes,
except "better", as mine has a matching side plate.

I believe "asking" here is the key word, I do not think they are worth that kind of $$. They are scarce, even rare- but not $12k worth, maybe half!

Don's is #36, and appears to be all original. The DDR new production Luger is #18, and is not all original (mismatched side plate is noticeable).
