I've used my own reloads and the only trouble I had was the bolt not staying open after the last round ( didn't happen with factory Fiocchi though). I carefully increased the powder charge each time within the guidlines from the Speer manual and it still wouldn't lock back even when brought up to max load. I was using Win 231 at the time and then tried a load using AA#7 at 2/10ths of a grain below max loading and a 124 gr. copper plated bullet and it performed like clockwork. I tried this method using various other intermediate burning powders and they've all worked 100% so far without any feeding issues.

Hi OGN:
I agree that medium burning powders seems to give a more reliable function, in the 9mm anyway. Try some: SR4756 or Power Pistol For me, they give perfect function and are incredibly accurate. Sieger |

The reloading pamphlet for AA powders usually has a statement in the 9mm section saying that some "high performance" pistols such as the Glock or Sig may not function reliably with the faster burning powders. I never had any problem with faster powders in my Glock 19 but like I stated, it was a different story with the Luger. I've never tried Power Pistol and would like to pick some up to test for function and accuracy.

most every magazine problem I have had, has been cured by replacing the magazine springs. I must have replaced about 5 of them with new.
