Dave,

The Ideal stock rig was patented in 1904 by one Ross M.G. Phillips, and asigned to the Ideal Holster Co. The patent drawings illustrate a revolver. The manual for the stock is illustrated with a revolver version on the cover, and inside shows versions for the Luger and long-slide Colt automatic. See Bender, Luger Holsters & Accessories of the 20th Century, pp.581-596.

Only one of them is low and that one has a mismatched top. I don't know if these prices are high or not, but I am glad that I have what I got. One of the AE's looks about like the one on the above mentioned GB auction.

anybody can ask whatever they want. What they get may be something different. A squeeky wheel keeps his money...or something like that. I have heard a lot of rumors about gun sales prices that go in both directions.
